Southern Dunes is the ideal place to centre your Holiday/Vacation, approx. 20 minutes to Disney World and only 60 minutes to the coast, the best of all worlds. Walt Disney World is easily reached by using the much less congested route of Highway 27 and Interstate 4 then straight into Disney. Just outside the entrance/exit to Southern Dunes you will find a 24/7 Wal-Mart Superstore and a Winn Dixie Supermarket, so no having to go miles to stock up on those essentials for your Villa. There are also several fast food restaurants and steak houses, all within a few minutes by car . Wal-Mart and Winn Dixie are within walking distance from Darwin House. No main roads to cross , just a relaxing and scenic walk through the peaceful Community. The Southern Dunes Golf Course is a Championship PGA Golf Course and is placed as one of the top 100 in the U.S.A. and rated 6th Best to Play in Florida. The superb course really challenges all golfers, from the novice to the most experienced. Located in a dramatic hillside setting, the design of the course ensures that Golfers will have to use a wide variety of shots, which is one of the reasons Southern Dunes is such a stimulating course to play. |
